Our Annual General Meeting is not just an opportunity for you to have your say - it’s also a chance to network with fellow members. To make this time more enjoyable, drinks and nibbles will be served after the meeting, which is expected to conclude by 6:00pm.

Elections
The Federation's rules provide for the election of nominated representatives of Business/Small Business members or Associate members or Senior members as Council members in line with specified representation or for Council to decide to accept nominations at the meeting.
Note for Officers
If you wish to stand for CBAFF Council, please ensure that you meet the qualification criteria for being an officer of this society. All Officers are required to sign this Consent form (see the qualification criteria on page 2). By signing this consent, you also consent to these details being added to the Incorporated Societies Register for this society. Your contact address and email address will only be visible to, and used by, the Registrar – they will not be displayed on the public register.
Nominations
By completing and submitting the Nomination form, the Proposer will confirm that both the Nominee and the Seconder have given their approval to this nomination, and that the submission serves as the Proposers electronic signature, carrying the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
Submistions are required to be completed by 5pm on Monday 28 April 2025.
NOTE: nominee, proposer, and seconder must be members of CBAFF.
Instrument of Proxy
In accordance with the rules of the Customs Brokers & Freight Forwarders Federation of NZ Inc., Business Membership may only vote by proxy.
The Instrument of Proxy shall be deposited at the registered Office of the Federation or delivered in person to the Secretary before the time of holding the meeting. In accordance with the Constitution, digital/email submissions are also eligible.
NOTE: for Business/Small Business/Associate members only.
Voting
CBAFF will be using an electronic method to cast, and then tabulate, votes in an anonymous election. ElectionBuddy will be involved through the duration of the voting process from notifying voters and collecting votes to tallying election results.
NOTE: in order to avoid last minute delays and complications, CBAFF asks you to RSVP prior to the AGM, thank you.
