Honouring Ian Jenner, a respected industry figure, we are proud to launch the CBAFF Ian Jenner Award.
 
The Ian Jenner Award celebrates outstanding innovation and excellence within the logistics, transport, and supply chain sectors. Open to individuals, teams, businesses, government agencies, and industry associations, this award recognises those who have made a significant impact through innovative solutions and exceptional industry contributions. 
 
Join us in celebrating the visionaries shaping the future of our industry!
 
Nominations will be sought from the industry, and the winner(s) will be announced at the CBAFF Annual Conference. 
 

Timeline 

Nominations Open - 01 April 2025 
Nominations Close - 11 July 2025 
Judging Panel Evaluation - August 2025 
Winner Announcement - at the 29th Annual CBAFF Conference Gala Dinner, 04 September 2025 
 

Award Presentation 

The winner(s) will receive: 
  • The Ian Jenner Trophy, held for one year. 
  • A framed certificate in recognition of their achievement. 
     

Nomination Process 

  1. Eligibility 
    • Open to individuals, teams, organisations, government agencies, and industry associations. 
    • Nominees must have demonstrated exceptional contributions to the logistics, transport, or supply chain sectors. 
  2. Nomination Submission 
    • Nominations will be accepted via email using CBAFFs Nomination Form
    • Nominations should include: 
      • A detailed description (maximum 1000 words) addressing how the nominee meets each of the judging criteria. 
      • Supporting documentation (e.g., case studies, testimonials, media coverage, etc.) to reinforce the nominee’s achievements. 
  3. Nomination Deadline 
    • Nominations must be received by 11 July 2025. Late submissions will not be considered. 
  4. Nominee Confirmation 
    • Nominees will be contacted to confirm their participation and provide any additional requested information for the review process. 
  5. Final Selection 
    • Nominations will be reviewed by a judging panel of industry experts, who will assess each nominee’s alignment with the judging criteria. 
       

Judging Criteria 

Nominations will be evaluated based on the following key areas: 
 
  1. Commitment to Continuous Improvement (20%) 
    • Demonstrates ongoing efforts to improve processes, services, or industry standards. 
    • Displays passion, resilience, and a proactive approach to industry challenges. 
  2. Innovation & Problem-Solving (25%) 
    • Showcases creative, outside-the-box thinking that has significantly enhanced existing processes or introduced new solutions. 
    • Highlights a unique and inventive approach to addressing industry needs. 
  3. Relevance & Adaptability (20%) 
    • Demonstrates flexibility in responding to industry challenges, uncertainty, and change. 
    • Aligns with current and future demands within the logistics sector. 
  4. Collaboration & Cultural Excellence (15%) 
    • Exemplifies strong industry partnerships and cross-sector collaboration. 
    • Fosters a culture of inclusion, teamwork, and shared success. 
  5. Industry Impact & Leadership (20%) 
    • Actively contributes to enhancing the logistics sector and raising its profile. 
    • Inspires others through innovation, thought leadership, and meaningful contributions to industry growth.
