A wide range of requirements apply when transporting dangerous goods and a surprisingly large number of products fall into the DG category.
Explosives, Gases, Flammable Liquids, Flammable Solids, Oxidising Substances, Toxic and Infectious Substances, Radioactive Material, Corrosives and Miscellaneous Dangerous Substances are all classified as Dangerous Goods and additional care is required when transporting them either by land, sea or air.

DG Courses
- Dangerous Goods Endorsement
This course is for anyone who handles or transports any dangerous goods, e.g. fuel and chemicals, by road in New Zealand and needs a DG Endorsement.
FORMAT
One Day WorkshopAt the completion of this course you will be able to:

- Identify responsibilities of everybody involved in the handling of Dangerous Goods
- Provide knowledge and understanding of legislation around the handling of Dangerous Goods.

- Dangerous Goods - Land & Sea
This course has been designed for drivers, loaders and warehouse staff. The purpose of this course is to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to safely handle, load and store dangerous goods and to give you an understanding of the different classes of dangerous goods and their hazards, along with your health and safety obligations when handing dangerous goods at your workplace.

- IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) - Initial Training
This IATA Initial Dangerous Goods course will improve your awareness of the legal requirements, operational restrictions, packaging instructions, marking, labeling and documentation regulations related to the transport of dangerous goods by air. Gain the skills to accept, handle and process shipments containing dangerous goods according to the current edition of the mandatory IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Manual 2019, 60th edition.
This course is designed for persons involved in Air Cargo processing and handling of Dangerous Goods who either have no prior DGR training or who have not updated their training during the past 24 months. This course fulfils ICAO and IATA training requirements and qualifies you to handle and process dangerous goods for carriage by air for a 24-month period.
An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 80% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.

Revalidate your 24-month IATA DGR requirement with the latest IATA amendments and directives.
It is mandatory to undergo recurrent DGR training every 24 months on the latest regulations and trends related to the carriage of dangerous goods. This refresher course provides awareness of the current legal requirements, operational restrictions, packaging instructions, marking, labelling and documentation regulation for dangerous goods, all in accordance with the current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Manual 2019, 60th edition.
